2 Simple Ways to Get Backlinks For Your Backlinks + Panda / Penguin Update
[MAY 2012 UPDATE BELOW...]
Your backlinks need backlinks too! Whaaa?
Seriously!
Any links that you create should have a second layer of low-level backlinks built to them. It’ll help those backlinks get indexed and help them have more authority in Google’s eyes.
Here’s a 14 minute video on how to get backlinks for NEW links you’re building and OLD links you’ve already built.
In this video:

As Google devalues more and more low-quality links (whether from “bad neighborhoods” or just sites Google doesn’t trust), those links you DO have become even more important.
That is, you have to make the one’s you’ve got count!
Using a service like BacklinksIndexer is so important to ENSURE that your backlinks are indexed, found, that they count in the eyes of Google.
What’s more, Backlinks Indexer is the PERFECT way to get the all-important anchor text variation that’ll save your site from an over-optimization penalty. If you’ve been intentionally link building it’s likely you’ve got too many links using the same anchor text – the anchor text you were trying to optimize for. Solve this by adding the URL’s from your site to BackLinksIndexer. It’ll go out and happy get links for your URL’s, and because the sources of those links are so varied the anchor text will vary as well.
Because the links that BackLinks Indexer gets are from Web 2.0 sites, social bookmarking sites, micro blog sites, content aggregator sites and RSS aggregators, you’ll also be getting a massive mix of hosts, IP addresses, trypes of sites, etc. linking to you, which is crucial for link mixology. And being Web 2.0, social type sites you won’t see a penalty from Google for them linking to you. They’re safe neighborhoods.
Backlinks Indexer is a key tool for all these reasons. Get your 5 day triel here and give it a whirl!

Thanks Michelle – great tips. I have been spending quite a bit of time lately building links to my backlinks. This has proven to be time well spent.
Problem is … when you start checking the status of your backlinks using those tools it can get a little messy. And very interesting!
Hi Michelle; Nice page, & I like the “You’re New Here” box. 2 things; 1. No Video; 2; The vertical Social Share do-hicky can’t be closed & obscures your text.
Michelle,
There’s so much junk and BS in the internet marketing world that either doesn’t work or that has a fatal flaw (such as incomplete info). Thanks so much for the informative and relevant video on how we can get backlinks to our backlinks. I already got an account at Backlinks Indexer and at Majestic SEO and downloaded Scrapebox to my PC. I honestly don’t know how well your backlinking system will work, but something tells me that even a slight improvement will help get some of my keyword phrases from page 2 on Google to page 1.
Much thanks,
Denny
Michelle,
Great video! I have a question since you’re an advocate of Backlinks Indexer. To give you some context on my situation, I’ve been using private link networks like LinkVana (I know its bad) and got slapped with the Webmaster Tools notice from Google so I’m a little gun shy about link building right now. Looking at Backlinks Indexer I’m seeing that anywhere from 19,000 – 90,000 backlinks would be created at a rate of thousands daily to my backlinks. Wouldn’t this raise red flags with Google and make my link profile look even more unnatural and artificial? One thought would be to make sure I’m NOT building links to the unnatural looking links built through the PLN’s like LinkVana. Any thoughts on what to do? Have you ever encountered negative effects from such massive amounts of backlink building with Backlinks Indexer?
It’s not building links to YOUR url’s so it doesn’t matter.
“”and got slapped with the Webmaster Tools notice from Google so I’m a little gun shy about link building right now”
Caleb – that’s exactly how google wants you to react – a lot of it is scare-mongering – build quality links to your money sites, then build loads of “not as high quality” links to them – more “tier 2″ links works “
Thanks for the replies, Michelle and Lorna. I’m going to give Backlinks Indexer a try. I DO need to diversify my linkbuilding and integrate more social signals from Google+, Facebook Shares, Twitter Retweets, Tumblr, etc. I’ve been creating meme’s and using those to snag some backlinks via Tumblr and social sites. Anyone else out there willing to share their experience using Backlinks Indexer in the manner described above in the video?
I’d like to thank you for such a clear and snappy video – 14 minutes, straight to the point, all very sensible. Loving your recent posts!
Old stuff, but very well done once again Michelle. I have been using Backlinks Indexer for quite a while myself, but understand that part of what they do is via either their their own or another Blog Network as well. I don’t know if they are adjusting this now or not. It is only a small part of what they do to get backlinks to your back links, but it is part of it.
I have also always been very careful about suggesting my members and subscribers use Scrapebox. Not because it isn’t a great tool. It is. The problem being with the ability to abuse it and then find yourself in a hole from a lack of knowledge on how to use it. I am talking mainly about the Blog Commenting part of it, which is very powerful, but can get you in a lot of trouble with your sites quickly if you are not careful.
Did you watch the vid Michael? Doesn’t seem like it.
Yes I did Michelle. I have been doing this for quite some time.
This is a great and detailed video for those who don’t know this stuff and is probably one of the better videos I have seen in reference to doing it outside of a paid product. I was simply pointing out other considerations in reference to your tools used here.
Who else thinks Michelle should do more videos? I’ve never seen one from you that I didn’t like!
Yeah I think Michelle should do more videos and also do my websites. Great info. Thanx a lot.
Clear, thorough, relevant, and current content in this video. I really enjoy your stuff, Michelle, make more!
Thank you Michelle. I truly appreciate the care you take to explain not just the “what” but you always give great insights into the “why”…..the teach a man to fish ideology. I so want to get good at this but with so much NOISE out there on how and what to do its so hard to sift through the ‘blah blah blah’ and ‘just do this and wake up with a million dollar business’ crap to find people you can trust to guide you through the maze. So glad you are a part of ‘The Challenge’ coz that’s where I first appreciated your teaching style.
Thanks for the vid. Going to use this from now on. Please keep speaking out and sharing your great insights and experience. Its always appreciated.

Greg

Hi Michelle. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Recently I have been promoting my links to my main website. It makes perfect sense using this type of technique. It is protecting main websites whilst giving backlinks a huge boost plus you can do it with every backlink. Can’t wait to see the results in due course.
Thank you for offering this and also explaining how to implement it so well.
Best wishes
Martin
Michelle there is a lot of talk about natural and unnatural linking. Do you think this could raise a red flag for Google by having a lot of new backlinks showing up over a short period of time?
I was just about to ask pretty much the same question. Michelle, do you still use this tool for your 2.0s post penguin? As far as I know any penalties wouldn’t carry through to your ultimate URL if linking to the satellites instead of the money site, but I wanted to see if you still use this with pre-penguin results?
@Kyle – Yes I do.
